Lead Foundation is an independent, non-political and not for profit organization by a group of professional, dynamic Dairy Technologists and social workers with a vision that societies need sustainable development for which there is a need to create enabling environment for every segment of society, to make them part of development and decision making. We belief for the use of participatory approaches through which the most vulnerable community is empowered by building their capacity to think, plan, implement and monitor projects on their own.

Broad Objectives:
- To improve the Dairy & agriculture marketing system in rural areas for poverty alleviation
- To bring positive behavior change among community through awareness programs.
- To facilitate community, especially women to start income generation activities through trainings, provision of micro credit, and market linkages.
- Women empowerment through training and incentives.
- To adequately meet the increasing public demand for milk, meat and eggs.
- To provide comprehensive health coverage to animals.
- To strengthen trainings for farmers on modern education/teaching pattern.
- To raise stakeholder’s awareness on modern Farming technology.
- Enhancement of networking among public and private sector for the Dairy development.
Focus Groups
LEAD Foundation’s focus is on the economically disadvantaged groups of people. Keeping in view the overall power imbalances and discriminations that exist at all levels; the focus amongst these groups, is again on most vulnerable and the marginalized ones. LEAD Foundation also focuses on the special groups such as widows and physically impaired persons.
